Gift from the Sea is Anne Morrow Lindbergh's elegant and timeless reflection on the fundamental – and paradoxical - concept that to truly enjoy and sustain her relationships with others, a woman must nurture herself. I’ve worked with many women over the years, and while it might seem cliché at this point, when it comes to illustrating how vital the need is for women to take care of themselves, I still use the example of the airline safety instructions: “Make sure your own oxygen mask is firmly in place before attempting to help children or others needing assistance.” I am still using this message because it is clear and simple:
We are better able to help others if we take care of our own needs first.

Registration Information
Payment in full or a non-refundable deposit of $240 will reserve your space (see payment options below). Confirmation of registration, along with additional information about the weekend, will be sent upon receipt of deposit.
Your investment for this powerful, nurturing weekend provides you with:
- 2 nights single room accommodation
- 5 wholesome meals: Dinner on Friday, 3 meals Saturday, breakfast on Sunday
(Optional lunch available Sunday - $10.00)
- Coffee, tea, juice and healthy snacks throughout the weekend
- All retreat and collage materials
- Two follow up tele-group calls to support you after the retreat. I'll send you a phone number (bridge-line) and a PIN code. On the designated date and time, you'll dial in, enter your PIN and voila…the Gift of the Sea 2008 Retreat women who wish to participate will all be on the call together – similar to a conference call!

Refund Policy: Refunds are based on full payments, minus deposit.
BEFORE April 4 – two thirds of full payment, minus deposit. If I can fill your place, I will give you a full refund, minus deposit.
No refunds will be available after April 4, 2008.

Biddeford, Maine is just 25 – 30 minutes south of Portland with its Amtrak and Concord Trailways stations, as well as the Portland International Jetport. It is also conveniently reached from the Maine Turnpike. If you need transportation from the airport, bus or train stations, to the retreat center, please let me know. We will make every effort to arrange that transportation for you.

"The Spiritual Center has a unique setting in a cover off the coast of Southern Maine, located in Biddeford Pool where one can wake to the beautiful sunrises and taper off the days with gorgeous sunsets. This "Sacred Space" is situated between two small lakes and is sided by the beautiful Atlantic Ocean and its beachfront access, convenient parking and is surrounded by nature's beauty providing an opportunity for silence, healing and a prayerful atmosphere for those seeking renewal in spirit."
