Life Coaching is something we do together. We create a dynamic, mutually respectful relationship that exists exclusively for the support and achievement of your goals and intentions. We become a team dedicated to you.
Think of it as a safe, non-judgmental space in your life where you can...
- determine what you want more of - and what you'd like less of - in your life
- learn to recognize the voice of your inner wisdom
- identify your strengths and use them to your best advantage
- introduce more creativity into your life
You tell me what you want, dream or desire, and together we create a plan to bring it to life. Your life.
How will we do that? As your Life Coach my job is to:
- help you clarify what you really want to manifest in your life
- work with you to create a plan of action to get you there
- hold you accountable to that plan (and yourself)
- offer you different perspectives to shake things up
- ask powerful questions to generate powerful changes in your life
I do not offer pre-packaged programs to my clients. Because I believe everyone's goals, lives and learning styles are unique, all work is designed specifically for each client.
Why a Life Coach and not your partner or best friend? Two reasons:
- A Life Coach asks the really tough questions that no-one else will. I'm trained to ask the right questions at the right time. These questions aren't random; they are intended for you to learn more about yourself, and provide clarity about your next "right" step.
- I'm not in your loop. The only agenda I have for your life is the one you choose. I can ask difficult questions because I don't fear losing our relationship. As a matter of fact, I will risk the relationship to ask empowering questions.
Life Coaching is not Therapy. While both professions require deep, empathic and active listening (listening to both what is said and what is not being said) there is a distinct difference between them. Simply put, coaching is about the present and moving forward into the future. Therapy is generally about addressing and healing the past. In Life Coaching, the past may be looked at within the context of changing a current behavior.
Who can benefit from Coaching? While coaching clients come from a variety of backgrounds and walks of life, the one element they have in common is this: they are motivated people who are ready for change.

If any of these statements sound familiar to you...

"Working with Maggie is like going on an adventure with an experienced guide. Even though you are exploring new territory, you can relax into the experience without any fear, knowing that the guide has a map and a compass to nudge you in the right direction. It was an invaluable opportunity to look at my life from a new perspective, work out my priorities and make a plan for the future." - Patricia O’D.
